About Anne
Meet
Anne Bonney
I came home one day from a fun day at second grade, and my parents sat my brother and me down.
“We’re moving to Saudi Arabia this summer.”
I listened to my parents process this with my brother, wondering what the big deal was. We had already moved 4 times in my short 7 years. I was used to packing and making new friends. I wasn’t sure what Saudi Arabia was, but from the sounds of it there was a lot of camels and sand, which was pretty cool.
They finally turned their attention to me. “What do you think, Annie?”
I looked at them, puffed up my little kid chest and said… “I’ve got places to go and people to see.”
And that has been my philosophy ever since. After moving 27 times, attending 13 different school from K-Masters, living on 4 continents, and having 6 distinct and successful careers, change has become my comfort zone, and embracing the discomfort that comes with it has helped me lead a fun and fulfilling life.
I’ve studied the anatomy of habit and change, and our reactions to change, and thrive on igniting people’s courage to deal more effectively with change, because as Heraclites said, “Change is the only constant in life.” So we might as well get good at it.

Imagine what you and your team could accomplish if you were
More Courageous

“I had the pleasure of collaborating with Anne at Breaking My Boundaries – Women’s Empowerment Conference. She was our Master of Ceremonies and the role fit like a glove – she is dynamic, engaging, funny, intelligent, flexible, relatable, and thinks quickly on her feet. She was the glue that held our day together! I highly recommend Anne and look forward to partnering with her on future projects!”

Matterhorn Kids
Growing up overseas, we didn’t go to Disney land for vacation, we went to closer places like Nepal and Switzerland. Here is my brother and me hiking near the Matterhorn.
Antarctica Marathon Finish
In 2007 I completed the Antarctica Marathon with some seriously confused penguins cheering me on.
Pengiun Encounter
My happy place: Peterman Island, Antarctica. This is little Don King. He barfed orange fish goo on my pants. I think that means we’re married.
Pirate Pigs
Running the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon as pirate pigs, because Anne Bonny was an infamous female pirate in the 18th century, and I have tolerant friends.
Burning Man
In 2013 I went to Burning Man and learned more about myself and connecting with people than I expected. (It’s WAY more than you may have heard it is)
